Paytrail payment service
Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard
The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For payments made with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard cards, Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Plc holds a payment institution licence.

The online banking payment intermediary service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the user, the service works just like a traditional online payment.
Our delivery time is usually 1-7 business days for products in stock. However, the delivery time for products made to order is longer. Made-to-order products are adapted to normal production, with delivery times depending on the current production situation.
We will confirm the delivery time once your order has been processed. If the order contains products for which a longer delivery time has been announced, the delivery of such orders will naturally take a little longer.
The products will be delivered to the nearest Matkahuolto location, directly to your home or workplace, using the Matkahuolto delivery method you choose when placing your order. The courier will agree directly with the customer on the delivery of the product to the doorstep.
Please note! We cannot influence the delivery time if the delay in delivery is due to a third party error, strike or natural disasters.
We believe you will be happy with your purchase. However, if you find that you have ordered the wrong product, or for any reason you want to return your purchase, the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act on distance selling apply to returns.
Our products delivered from stock have a 14-day right of return without justification. The right of return expires 14 days after receipt of the goods. Products must be returned in good condition, unused, in their original packaging.
The right of return does not apply to products cut to size at the customer’s request, such as tubes, fabrics and films. Also, no refund will be given for products modified at the customer’s request.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your subscription in an unambiguous manner. You can also make a free-form declaration, for example by e-mail or by sending a declaration with the goods to be returned. The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract by giving notice using the withdrawal form provided for in the Ministry of Justice Decree or by any other unambiguous means within 14 days (CCC 6:14).
To comply with the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Simply returning or not picking up the goods from Matkahuolto without a separate cancellation notice is not sufficient. It is the consumer’s responsibility to prove that the declaration has been made, if necessary.
If the last day of the cancellation period is a Saturday or a public holiday, the cancellation can still be made on the first working day after the last day. (KSL 12:1e)
The consumer also has the right to withdraw from the contract before the goods are delivered. No justification is required for exercising the right of withdrawal.
You can either exchange the product for a new one or get a refund.
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product.
Returning a product ordered from a catalogue or a made-to-measure product
When a customer orders a product that is already available as a pattern, for example a boat cover that is not a stock item, it is a made-to-order product. This is governed by section 6:16 of the Consumer Protection Act (KSL 6:16). The product is manufactured at the customer’s request and to match the standard boat model specified by the customer.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information she gives about the boat. The product is manufactured to fit a factory-built, standard-equipped boat according to the specifications provided. When placing your order, please indicate if the boat has been substantially modified, or has been fitted with additional equipment.
The customer has the right to cancel the order within 14 days of the order. If there is no cancellation notification, the order is considered valid and individual manufacturing can begin. If 14 days have passed and manufacturing has started – The customer can still cancel the order, but we will charge the material and manufacturing costs of the product up to that point. However, there is no right of withdrawal if the service has been fully provided and the consumer has been informed of the lack of right of withdrawal in such a situation.
If it has been mutually agreed with the customer that the product will be manufactured earlier than 2 weeks after the order is placed – No cancellation option 14 days in advance.
The product will be returned unused, unassembled and properly packaged.
NOTE! Products that have been modified at the customer’s request or with the customer’s dimensions cannot be exchanged or returned. Customer feedback should be notified to us by email
Not picking up your parcel from the post office or sending it by return post without notice is not the same as cancelling the transaction. For the costs incurred by our company for deliveries that have not been collected without cancellation notice, we will charge a separate fee of €20.00 to cover the actual cost of shipping, handling and return.
If you are unfortunate enough to receive an incorrect or defective product, please always contact our customer service department first for further instructions. Defective parts are easiest to replace when the product is not yet assembled. If the package has been damaged in transit, please do the same here.
The contact information requested in connection with the order will not be used for any purpose other than to deliver the order or to clarify any ambiguities in it. The contact information will not be passed on or used for direct marketing or any other purpose unrelated to the delivery of the order.
