Silvertex is an easy-care vinyl fabric with a softly shimmering, matt surface. The fabric's own antibacterial and mould-inhibiting treatments extend its service life, often in the damp conditions of boating and storage. Clean with mild soap and water. Stains such as grease, blood, sun cream, chalk or water-soluble marker pen wipe off the vinyl surface easily. Disinfectants or alcohol solutions can be used if necessary. All fabrics in the fire-safe Permablok3 collection have the Permablok3 antibacterial, antimicrobial and mould-inhibiting treatment. The Silvertex fabric also has a Silverguard silver-ion treatment using advanced technology, the effectiveness of which is based on the natural ability of silver ions to eliminate micro-organisms and thereby prevent the bacterial growth that causes odours and stains. Thanks to these finishing treatments, the fabric is excellently suited even to very demanding environments such as hospitals, care homes and other care facilities, as well as fast-food and restaurant interiors. Permablok3 fabrics are waterproof, frost-resistant and have outstanding colour lightfastness.
