VA-Varuste’s canopy fabric range features Dickson’s Sunbrella Plus acrylic woven fabrics – the industry-leading choice for manufacturing boat canopies and covers. Sunbrella Plus fabric is designed to withstand the demanding Nordic weather conditions year after year.
Sunbrella Plus is a solution-dyed acrylic woven fabric with a PU coating that ensures excellent water resistance. The fabric width is 152 cm and weight 320 g/m². The water column exceeds 1000 mm, and UV resistance is rated 7–8/8 (ISO 105 B02). UPF 50+ rating provides effective UV protection.
Over 20 Colour Options
The range includes over 20 colours from classic white (Natural) to deep black (Jet Black). The most popular colour is 5530 Cadet Grey. Also available in various shades of blue, red, grey, beige and brown. New Sunbrella Plus Recycled fabrics (P116, P118) contain at least 33% recycled fibre.
Fabric is sold by the metre, so you can order exactly the amount you need for canopy or cover manufacturing or repair. VA-Varuste uses the same Sunbrella Plus fabric in all its own boat canopies and covers.
