Payments by Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard
The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For payments made with Visa, Visa Electron or MasterCard cards, Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the card invoice and forwards the payment to the merchant. Online banks
The online banking payment intermediary service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the user, the service works just like a traditional online payment.
Delivery
We currently deliver from our online shop to mainland Finland, Sweden and Denmark. If you would like delivery to another country, please request a quote from our customer service. Our delivery time for products in stock is usually 2-5 working days. However, the delivery time for products made to order is longer. Ordered products are adjusted to normal production, so the delivery time depends on the current production situation.
We will confirm the delivery time when your order has been processed. If the order contains products for which a longer delivery time has been announced, the delivery of such orders will naturally take a little longer.
The products will be delivered using the shipping method you selected when ordering. The carrier will agree directly with the customer about the delivery to your door.
Note! We cannot influence the delivery time if the delay in delivery is due to a third party error, strike or natural disasters.
Customer returns
We believe you will be happy with your purchase. However, if you find that you have ordered the wrong product, or for any reason you want to return your purchase, the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act on distance selling apply to returns.
Our products delivered from stock have a 14-day right of return without justification. The right of return expires 14 days after receipt of the goods. Products must be returned in saleable condition, unused, and in their original packaging.
The right of return does not apply to products cut to size at the customer’s request, such as pipes, fabrics, and films. Also, no refund will be given for products modified at the customer’s request.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your subscription in an unambiguous manner. You can also make a free-form declaration, for example by e-mail or by sending a declaration with the goods to be returned. The consumer has the right to cancel the contract by notifying the consumer of this by using the model cancellation form provided for in the Ministry of Justice Decree or in another unambiguous manner no later than 14 days after the end of the cancellation period (KSL 6:14).
To comply with the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the end of the cancellation period.
Simply returning the goods or not collecting them from Matkahuolto without a separate notification of cancellation is not sufficient. The consumer is responsible for showing, if necessary, that the notification has been made.
If the last day of the cancellation period is a Saturday or a public holiday, the cancellation notification can be made on the first working day after that. (KSL 12:1e)
The consumer also has the right to cancel the contract before the goods are delivered. There is no need to provide reasons for exercising the right of withdrawal.
You can either exchange the product for a new one or receive a refund.
The customer pays the costs of returning the product.
Returning a product ordered from a catalogue or a made-to-measure product
When a customer orders a product that is already available as a pattern, for example a boat cover that is not a stock item, it is a made-to-order product. This is governed by section 6:16 of the Consumer Protection Act (KSL 6:16). The product is manufactured at the customer’s request and to fit the standard equipment boat model specified by the customer.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided about the boat. The product is manufactured to fit a factory-built, standard-equipped boat according to the specifications provided. Please inform us when placing your order if the boat has been substantially modified or if any accessories have been installed.
The customer has the right to cancel the order within 14 days of placing the order. If there is no cancellation notification, the order is considered valid and individual manufacturing can begin. If 14 days have passed and manufacturing has started – The customer can still cancel the order, but we will charge the material and manufacturing costs of the product up to that point. There is no right of cancellation, however, if the service has been completely performed and the consumer has been informed of the lack of a right of cancellation in such a situation.
If it has been agreed with the customer that the production of the product will begin earlier than in 2 weeks – There is no possibility of cancelling the order 14 days in advance.
Warehouse
The product must be returned unused, unassembled and properly packaged.
NOTE! Products that have been modified at the customer’s request or with the customer’s dimensions cannot be exchanged or returned. Customer returns must be notified to us by email. Not picking up the package from the post office or sending it by return mail without separate notification is not the same as canceling the transaction. For the costs incurred by our company for deliveries that have not been collected without cancellation notice, we will charge a separate fee of €20.00 to cover the actual cost of shipping, handling and return.
Complaints
If you are unfortunate enough to receive an incorrect or defective product, please always contact our customer service department first for further instructions. Defective parts are easiest to replace when the product is not yet assembled. If the package has been damaged in transit, please do the same here.
