Boat canopy care products keep your canopy in excellent condition season after season. Regular cleaning, impregnation and mould removal when needed significantly extend the service life of the canopy fabric and maintain its appearance.
Start by removing loose particles with a soft brush. Then wash the fabric with a cleaning agent such as Tex’Aktiv Clean, which removes even deep stains without damaging the fabric. After cleaning, treat the fabric with an impregnating agent such as Tex’Aktiv Guard, which restores water repellency and protects against further soiling.
Mould removal is an essential part of canopy maintenance, particularly in damp climates. Star brite stain remover with bleach effectively eliminates black growth and mould spots without damaging Sunbrella acrylic fabric or other canopy materials. After using the mould remover, the fabric must always be re-impregnated.
Zipper maintenance considerably extends their service life. Star brite Snap & Zipper lubricant protects metal and plastic zippers from corrosion and wear, preventing them from seizing.
Our range also includes Tear-Aid transparent repair patches for fixing small tears and holes. Tear-Aid “A” is suitable for all materials except PVC, whilst Tear-Aid “B” is designed specifically for PVC and vinyl surfaces such as canopy window films.
With the right care products, your boat canopy will retain its appearance and protective properties for years to come.
Keep your boat textiles clean and waterproof. Sunbrella care products and mold removers recommended by the original manufacturer.

If you do not know the exact brand and model year of your boat, we will need your old canopy for inspection before we can start making a new one.
The positions of edge fasteners can vary between individual boats. Especially in older boats manufactured in the 1990s or earlier, the risk of differences is greater. For these older models, we need the old canopy at the final stage of the manufacturing process to verify the fastener positions. For newer models, the risk of differences is smaller, but only by aligning the fasteners from the old canopy can we guarantee a perfect fit.
