Winter Cover Fittings – System 30 Structural Connectors
VA-Varuste’s winter cover fittings department offers all System 30 structural connectors and fastening accessories for building winter cover frames over boats. The range includes 12 products: base feet, connectors, locks, pipe holders and ropelocks.
Base Feet
Base feet secure the frame pipe to the ground or deck surface. Foot H suits hard, flat surfaces such as decks and concrete jetties. Foot H with spike is designed for soft surfaces such as grass and gravel. Foot M is screw-fixed for permanent installation.
Connectors
Straight connector K joins two Ø30 mm frame pipes end to end. Pivot A+A/B is a two-piece angled connector with an adjustable angle between pipes. Straight 90 J joins three Ø30 mm pipes in a T-shape at 90 degrees.
Locks and Pipe Holders
Telescopic lock P secures the Ø30 mm outer pipe and Ø26 mm inner pipe at the desired length. Pipe holder R fastens Ø26 mm pipes to structures. Pipe holder PK fastens Ø30 mm pipes to another pipe or structure.
Ropelocks
Quicklock ropelocks allow fast tensioning of the winter cover fabric around the frame without knots. Tensile strength 100 kg, suitable for 4–6 mm cords. Available in packs of 1, 5 and 10 pieces.
All fittings are made from polyamide, colour marble grey. Order winter cover fittings from the VA-Varuste online shop.

If you do not know the exact brand and model year of your boat, we will need your old canopy for inspection before we can start making a new one.
The positions of edge fasteners can vary between individual boats. Especially in older boats manufactured in the 1990s or earlier, the risk of differences is greater. For these older models, we need the old canopy at the final stage of the manufacturing process to verify the fastener positions. For newer models, the risk of differences is smaller, but only by aligning the fasteners from the old canopy can we guarantee a perfect fit.
