Winter Cover Accessories – Frame Parts and Supplies for Boat Winter Protection
VA-Varuste’s winter cover accessories department offers all the parts needed to build a winter cover frame and secure the cover fabric over your boat. The range covers 17 products in two subcategories: winter cover fittings and winter cover pipes.
System 30 Frame System
The winter cover accessories are based on the System 30 frame system, where Ø30 mm fibreglass/polyester pipes are joined with polyamide fittings and connectors to create a sturdy frame structure over the boat. The frame protects the boat from snow, ice and weather damage during winter storage.
Winter Cover Fittings
The fittings range includes all System 30 structural connectors: base feet for hard and soft surfaces, straight connectors for joining pipes, pivots for angled joints, T-connectors for branching, telescopic locks for length adjustment and pipe holders. The range also includes Quicklock ropelocks for tensioning the cover fabric.
Winter Cover Pipes
The pipe range covers System 30 frame pipes in lengths from 1 to 3 metres, plus the telescopic inner pipe. Pipes are made from fibreglass/polyester pultrusion — lightweight (350 g/m), flexible and highly weather- and UV-resistant.

If you do not know the exact brand and model year of your boat, we will need your old canopy for inspection before we can start making a new one.
The positions of edge fasteners can vary between individual boats. Especially in older boats manufactured in the 1990s or earlier, the risk of differences is greater. For these older models, we need the old canopy at the final stage of the manufacturing process to verify the fastener positions. For newer models, the risk of differences is smaller, but only by aligning the fasteners from the old canopy can we guarantee a perfect fit.
