Bella 600 R boat canopy

Bella 600 R boat canopy is a high-quality canopy custom-made to order for Bella 600 R. Suitable for model years 2015-2017. The canopy is custom-made to order and tailored to your boat’s measurements.

Compatibility and customisation

This custom boat canopy is designed for Bella 600 R. The canopy is manufactured according to the boat’s measurements, ensuring an excellent fit. Fasteners and pattern positions are matched to the boat. If your boat has aftermarket accessories installed, please let us know when placing your order so we can take them into account during manufacturing.

Materials and quality

We use high-quality, UV-protected canopy fabrics that withstand Nordic weather conditions. The canopy fabric is pre-treated at the textile mill. The fabric is waterproof and breathable, preventing condensation under the canopy. All canopies are expertly manufactured in Finland.

Custom canopies are made to order and the delivery time is typically 3–5 weeks. Please enquire about the exact delivery time when placing your order. You can find more information about the ordering process on our customer service page.

Our customer service will contact you once the quote request has been processed.

If you do not know the exact brand and model year of your boat, we will need your old canopy for inspection before we can start making a new one.

The positions of edge fasteners can vary between individual boats. Especially in older boats manufactured in the 1990s or earlier, the risk of differences is greater. For these older models, we need the old canopy at the final stage of the manufacturing process to verify the fastener positions. For newer models, the risk of differences is smaller, but only by aligning the fasteners from the old canopy can we guarantee a perfect fit.

  1. Check your boat’s model and year of manufacture. With the correct information about your boat’s model and year, we can ensure that the pattern we use is correct. Even the same boat model can have model-year-specific variations in the canopy.
  2. Choose the colour for your new canopy in advance. You can see the colour chart HERE.
  3. If you are sending your old canopy to us, detach it from the frames and clean off the worst dirt before shipping. If the canopy is wet, wait for it to dry.
  4. NOTE! Place a note inside the canopy package with your contact details and boat information (brand, model, year). Also write down the desired colour for the new canopy. Labels taped on the outside of the package risk tearing off or getting lost during transport.
  5. If we do not have a pattern for your boat’s canopy, we can very likely manufacture a new one by copying the old canopy. Send us photos of the old canopy or ship it to us for evaluation, and we can provide a cost estimate for copying. If our quote does not suit you, we will return your old canopy free of charge.
  6. We will ship the new canopy to you once it is completed. Delivery is by cash-on-delivery parcel or Kaukokiito freight, in which case the canopy is invoiced separately before shipping. You can also pick up the new canopy from our premises, with payment at the time of collection.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the boat information provided. We manufacture the canopy based on the boat’s model year or hull number. Sometimes there may be different canopy versions for the same boat depending on the date of manufacture.

Verify your boat's model year from the WIN number before ordering

Open the guide to learn how to read the WIN code

View guide

The WIN code (Watercraft Identification Number) reveals when, where and by whom a boat was built. The system has been in use since 1998 as part of the EU Recreational Craft Directive.

Location on the boat

The WIN code is located on the transom on the right side, just below the rubbing strake. On boats without a transom, it is on the right side of the stern.

Code structure

Code structureFI-VAL A007B H 1 02country codemanufacturer codeserial number (numbers and/or letters)production month (A=Jan, B=Feb…)production year (last digit of 2001)model year (last two digits, 2002)

Month codes

A = Jan • B = Feb • C = Mar • D = Apr • E = May • F = Jun • G = Jul • H = Aug • I = Sep • J = Oct • K = Nov • L = Dec

Tip

Always record the WIN number when buying a boat. It helps identify the vessel in case of theft and verify the manufacturing year when purchasing a used boat.

Canopy frames

If your current canopy is made by VA-Varuste and you are ordering a replacement of the same model, the new canopy will fit your existing frames. You can continue to use your current frames if they are in good condition.

If the canopy frames are bent or broken, it is recommended to order new frames with the replacement canopy. Also, if you are not ordering the same model as your old canopy, you may need new frames. Additionally, if there is no certainty that the new canopy is the same model as your current one (e.g. the current canopy is not made by VA-Varuste), new frames are recommended.

Canopy frames are manufactured from stainless steel tube or aluminium, depending on the canopy model. Tube thickness also depends on the model; the most common sizes are Ø18 (with plastic fittings), Ø20, and Ø25mm (with stainless steel fittings).

Choose canopy fabric colour

The canopy fabric is always premium Sunbrella Plus. All colours are the same price.

Choose canopy finishing

You can choose from 3 colour options that affect the edge binding, reinforcements, sewing thread and zipper colours.
